We look forward to welcoming you all to our farm open day on the 11th of June 2017. It is a great day out for all age groups as we have something for all our guests.
We are delighted to take part in the National Forest Walking Festival 2017. Spring is a great time to walk in the forest and see the trees budding up and coming back to life after winter. The wood, planted in 2006, is now beginning to mature & become a natural habitat for many animals.
Our walks are at a leisurely pace so suitable for all abilities & ages. There are 3 morning walks starting at 10am & 1 evening walk starting at 7pm.
Morning Dates are: 13th, 16th & 24th of May at 10am
The morning walk will finish with a visit to the farm shop for refreshments.
Evening Walk is the 19th of May at 7pm
This walk will show the forest at dusk with the opportunities to see owls & bats! It will also be followed by a BBQ with burgers from meat produced on the farm.
Leisurely 2 miles, 2 hours, 1-5 stiles STARTING POINT Hill Farm, Spring Lane, Packington, LE65 1WU Meet adjacent to the toilets (nearest car park on farm) Take a leisurely stroll around the farm and woodland, taking in Canadian Bison, Red Deer, Alpacas and many more.
